Garde-Robe is connected

One step left: Shopify does not add the Save button to your checkout by itself. Add it to your Thank You page below, and customers can save each purchase to their Garde-Robe closet with one tap.

Required: add the Save button to your Thank You page

Takes about 2 minutes.

Running more than one checkout configuration? Repeat this for each one your customers use.

Optional: add a button to your order confirmation email

Give customers a second chance to save their purchase from their inbox. Takes about 5 minutes.

Step 1 — Open the email template editor

The link carries {{ shop.permanent_domain }} and {{ id }}, which Shopify fills in with your store and the order. That is what lets a tap add the purchase to the buyer’s closet, exactly as the thank-you page button does. Paste the snippets as they appear — do not replace those two placeholders with real values.

Step 2 — Add the button in 3 places

Use Ctrl+F (Windows) or Cmd+F (Mac) to find each spot below. If a search term isn't found, skip that step — it means your store uses a different checkout flow.

Places 1 & 2 of 3 — search for: <td class="button__cell--separator"></td>

The template has two occurrences of this line. For each one: click at the end of the highlighted line, press Enter to create a new line, then paste the code below. Press Next in the search bar to jump to the second occurrence and repeat.

<td class="button__cell button__cell--primary" width="50%" style="background-color:#5671FF;">
  <a href="https://commerce.garde-robe.com/get?shop={{ shop.permanent_domain }}&amp;order={{ id }}" class="button__text">Save to your Digital&nbsp;Closet</a>
</td>
<td class="button__cell--separator"></td>

Place 3 of 3 — search for: padding-left: 15px; vertical-align: middle;

Look a few lines below the highlighted text. You will see {% endif %}, then </td>, </tr>, then </table>. Click at the end of that </table> line, press Enter to create a new line, then paste:

<table class="actions-buttons" width="100%" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" border="0" style="margin-top:8px;">
  <tr>
    <td class="button__cell" style="background-color:#5671FF;">
      <a href="https://commerce.garde-robe.com/get?shop={{ shop.permanent_domain }}&amp;order={{ id }}" class="button__text">Save to your Digital&nbsp;Closet</a>
    </td>
  </tr>
</table>

Step 3 — Preview and save

Optional: show the button on the order status page

Customers who check out with a phone number get a text message from Shopify instead of an email, and Shopify does not let you edit that message. The text links to the order status page, so this is where they can save their purchase. Takes about 2 minutes.
